Irani Aqeeq stone Original Irani Aqeeq in Pakistan, name of agate is resulting from the place where it was first open, i.e. the Achetes River in Sicily. In Urdu, it is “Aqeeq”. Belonging to the minerals of quartz family, agate occurs in a number of variations in nature. In most of the cases, it is in bars or layers.
