Why this stone is listed on its own

We list stones individually rather than by the gram. What you see in the photograph is the exact piece, with its own colour and markings, not a sample image of the type.

What decides the price

Checking the stone before you pay

Hold it against a white background in daylight to judge colour honestly, look through a 10x loupe for growth features and small natural inclusions (glass shows round bubbles and swirl lines instead), and ask for the weight on a scale in front of you. For anything expensive, a report from an independent gemmological laboratory is the only way to be certain of the species and any treatment.

Who wears it

The Moon (Chandra). It is traditionally worn on the little finger of the right hand, set in silver, first worn on a Monday evening These are traditions rather than tested effects; what we stand behind is the stone itself.

Care

Pearls are the most delicate gem: last on, first off. Wipe with a soft damp cloth after wearing, avoid perfume and chemicals, and store in a soft pouch.

Nothing is polished, dyed or swapped between the photograph here and the courier, and if the colour or condition does not match what you see on this page, send it back inside seven days for a full refund including the delivery charge.
