This policy explains what personal information GemStore Pakistan ("GemStore", "we", "us") collects through GemStore.pk, why we need it, who we share it with and the choices you have. In short: we collect only what is needed to deliver your order and look after you afterwards, and we do not sell your data.

What We Collect
When you place an order
- Your name
- Your phone number (also used for WhatsApp, if you have it)
- Your delivery address and city
- Your email address
- The stones ordered, order value and any notes you add
Payment is Cash on Delivery, so we do not collect card or bank details at checkout. If you are owed a refund on a Cash on Delivery order, we will ask for the bank account details needed to send it, and use them only for that transfer.
When you contact us
Messages you send by WhatsApp, phone, email or the contact form, together with the details you choose to include.
When you browse the site
Basic technical information such as device and browser type, approximate location derived from your IP address, pages viewed and how you arrived at the site. This is collected through cookies and similar tools described below.
How We Use It
- To process, pack and deliver your order
- To confirm your order by phone call or WhatsApp before dispatch, and to update you on its progress
- To handle returns, exchanges and refunds
- To answer your questions and give after-sales support
- To keep the website working, secure and easy to use, and to understand which pages are useful
- To meet our legal and accounting obligations
We will only send you news or offers if you have asked to receive them, and you can stop them at any time.
Who We Share It With
We never sell or rent your personal information. We share it only where needed to serve you:
- Courier companies receive your name, phone number and address so they can deliver your parcel and collect Cash on Delivery payment. They act on our behalf for that purpose.
- Service providers such as our website host, email provider and analytics tools process data on our behalf to keep the site and our communications running.
- Authorities, where we are required to by Pakistani law.
Cookies and Analytics
GemStore.pk uses essential cookies to keep your basket and checkout working. We may also use analytics cookies to see, in aggregate, how visitors use the site so we can improve it. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the shop will still work, though your basket may not be remembered between visits.
How Long We Keep It
We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil the order, handle any return and meet accounting and legal requirements, and then delete or anonymise them. Contact messages are kept only as long as they are useful for supporting you.
Keeping It Safe
Access to customer data is limited to the people who need it to process orders, and we use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect it. No online service can promise perfect security, but we take care to keep your information secure.
Your Choices and Rights
You may ask us to show you the personal data we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it where we no longer need it for an order or a legal reason. You can also withdraw consent to marketing at any time. Email cod@gemstore.pk with your request and the phone number or email used on your order, and we will respond as soon as we can.
