Gemstones Delivered to Karachi

Karachi is a long way from Lahore, and buying a gemstone from a seller you cannot visit naturally raises questions. The short answer: GemStore sends natural, individually photographed stones to every part of Karachi by insured, tracked courier, and you pay in cash only after you have opened the parcel and seen the stone. Whether you want a neelam for Saturn, a pukhraj for Jupiter, a moti or a proper Yemeni aqeeq, here is exactly how it works.

From order to doorstep: the Karachi timeline

1. You choose. Pick a stone in the shop, or WhatsApp us your budget, a photo of a stone you like or your astrologer's recommendation. We reply with suitable stones from current stock.
2. We confirm and pack. Your stone is packed in Lahore and dispatched within 1-2 working days.
3. It travels insured. The courier carries it to your address, whether in Clifton, Gulshan-e-Iqbal, North Nazimabad or anywhere else in the city, with tracking throughout. Allow about 7 working days.
4. You inspect, then pay. Open the parcel, look at the stone against its photographs, and pay the rider only if you are satisfied.

Shipping is a flat Rs. 500 per order, however many stones you buy together.

What you are buying

Each listing is one individual natural stone, photographed as it is and priced on its own. The per-carat rate is the price divided by the carat weight, so you can compare it fairly with any Karachi quote. We do not sell glass, synthetics or glass-filled ruby, and known treatments such as heating of sapphire and ruby or oiling of emerald are disclosed. A certificate of authenticity is available on request, and independent lab testing can be arranged if you ask.

Buying in Karachi's own markets

Karachi has a huge gem trade, and fine stones and painted glass are often sold within a few doors of each other. If you are comparing a local offer with ours:

• Judge colour in daylight, not under showcase lights.
• Ask about treatment before you ask about price. Heated sapphire is normal; resin-filled emerald and glass-filled ruby at natural prices are not.
• Ask for the exact carat weight and work out the per-carat rate.

Caring for silver in sea air

Karachi's humidity and salty air tarnish silver faster than inland cities. If you need to send it back

Returns are accepted within 7 days of delivery for a refund or an exchange, provided the stone is unused and in its original condition and packaging. Refunds are processed within 3-5 business days after we verify the returned stone, and Cash on Delivery refunds are paid by bank transfer. Read the return policy and shipping policy for details.
