What the lab checks on emerald
- Clarity enhancement: oil or resin in surface-reaching fissures. Reports often grade it as minor, moderate or significant.
- Synthetics: hydrothermal and flux-grown emeralds show growth patterns and inclusions that natural stones do not.
- Look-alikes: green glass, green beryl coloured differently, and doublets with a green layer.
- Dye: coloured oil used to deepen pale material.
Some labs add an origin opinion for emerald.
How to request a report
Pick any stone from our emerald collection and send its link on WhatsApp +92 308 887 3888. We explain the testing steps for that stone, and you see the report before you pay. The same applies to peridot, jade and green agate. Read more on lab-certified gemstones.
