What the lab checks on red coral
- Natural colour or dye: spectroscopy identifies the natural pigment; dyed coral, including dyed sponge coral, is flagged.
- Filling and coating: wax, resin or polymer used to fill pores and add shine.
- Reconstituted coral: coral powder bonded with resin, which lacks the natural growth structure.
- Imitations: glass, plastic and dyed bone or shell.
How to request a report
Pick any stone from our red coral collection and send its link on WhatsApp +92 308 887 3888. We explain the testing steps for that stone, and you see the report before you pay. The same applies to ruby, red agate and pearl. Read more on lab-certified gemstones.
